Product Information
Spherical plain bearings are a type of sliding bearing with a special structure. The internal sliding friction surfaces are made of various material combinations and are specially treated with a phosphating process. They can withstand heavy loads, including radial loads, axial loads, or combined radial and axial loads. They are generally used for low-speed oscillating movements (i.e., angular motion). Due to the spherical shape of the sliding surface, they can still function normally even when there is significant misalignment between the supporting shaft and the housing bore within a certain angular range.
