Product Information
SBR linear guides are single-axis cylindrical linear guides, belonging to the category of low-cost, general-purpose linear guidance components. They are often used in conjunction with TBR linear guides. Key information is as follows:
1. Core Structure and Materials
- Main body: Consists of a high-carbon steel chrome-plated shaft (hardness HRC58-64, rust-proof and wear-resistant) and an anodized aluminum alloy support base;
- Slider: Features a non-through threaded hole design (only supports "top-down" unidirectional installation), with built-in linear bearings (ball bearing structure);
- Specifications: Common models include SBR12, SBR16, SBR20, SBR25, etc. (corresponding to the shaft diameter), and the length can be customized (up to approximately 6 meters).
2. Key Features
- Low cost: An economical guidance solution, 30%-50% cheaper than square linear guides;
- Easy installation: The aluminum base has built-in mounting holes, and the shaft and base can be quickly assembled;
- Strong interchangeability: The slider is interchangeable with the shaft of the same specification TBR linear guide (only the installation direction differs);
- Limitations: Only supports unidirectional installation, has weaker torsional resistance than dual-axis guides, and offers medium precision.
3. Typical Applications
Suitable for applications that do not require high precision or heavy loads, widely used in:
- Conveyor lines for automated equipment;
- Linear guidance for woodworking machinery and printing equipment;
- Auxiliary motion structures for 3D printers and small machine tools.
