Product Information

Flange-type electroplated linear bearings are linear bearings with a square flange and an electroplated surface. Typical models include the LMK, LMK…L, LMKC, LMKC…L, LMKP, and LMKP…L series. They are commonly used in linear motion applications requiring convenient fixing and corrosion resistance. Key information is as follows:

1. Structure and Material: The main body consists of an outer ring, steel balls, and a cage.  It features an integrally formed square flange at the end, with mounting holes for direct screw fixing, eliminating the need for an additional bearing housing. The body is often made of wear-resistant steel, and the surface is usually electroplated with zinc or nickel. Some models include rubber dust covers; the internal structure uses a nylon cage to guide the steel balls, and some models utilize a composite structure of steel backing + bronze sintering + PTFE coating to enhance performance. Common models include LMK10LUU, LMK12LUU, etc., where the numbers correspond to the compatible shaft diameter.

2. Core Features: The electroplated layer significantly improves rust and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for humid and corrosive environments; the square flange provides stable positioning, preventing the bearing from shifting or rotating during operation, and facilitating easy installation and removal. Thanks to the rolling friction structure, it offers low motion resistance and smooth transmission, and also boasts good interchangeability, allowing for easy replacement of worn parts without significant equipment modifications. However, its torsional resistance is relatively weak, making it best suited for applications with moderate precision requirements.

3. Typical Applications: Widely used in automated production lines, 3D printers, packaging machinery, and other equipment. It can also be used in precision linear motion components of medical and electronic equipment, and is commonly found in auxiliary guiding structures of CNC machine tools and sliding components of small conveyor lines.
